Content Creating a successful Web site is difficult and the chance for failure is high. Before starting a Web project, the developers should have a knowledge of the medium. This means understanding what the Web is, what it is used for, how the Internet or an internal network functions, how Web sites are served, and what the various Web protocols actually do. After learning the basics about the Internet and the Web the students will develop in groups of two or three their own Web sites. Possible projects include a Web site for disabled students, a Web site for foreign students, a Web site which presents one of our laboratories, a Web site which shows other foreign students how to live and study in Deggendorf. Further ideas are of course welcome. Topics
