• for Summer Semester: 1^st of December

Please note that the 15th of June and the 15th of January are the final deadlines for applications. Applications received after these dates cannot be processed.

International students not coming from a partner university must have their school-leaving certificate evaluated by the Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle (Bayern) in Munich. Exchange students from a partner university will receive all the relevant forms from the International Office at their home university.

A good knowledge of German is imperative for anyone studying in Germany.

Officially recognized German language tests are, for example:

Each applicant needs health insurance. Individuals from EU-member states can acquire Form E 128 from their health insurance company in their home country.
Students from countries outside of the EU must get health insurance in Germany. The price for health insurance is about 60 € per month.

Application Deadline: 15^th of June every year

An application to study at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences must be filled out completely and sent to the university, along with all other documents, before the deadline. It is only possible to begin with a degree program during the winter semester. In case you are transferring into an advanced semester, you may apply for the summer semester.
